BITT Polytechnic (BITTP) has been established by Birsa Institute of Technology (Trust)-BITT, Ranchi with the felt need of imparting quality education in the field of engineering and technology and to promote the highest standards of technical education in the state. It provides a good learning environment to its students, supported by excellent faculty and state-of- the-art infrastructure. A robust interface with industry is ensured through guest lectures, industry visits and industry training opportunities.
The Institute intends to educate students to become competent professionals as well as excellent human beings. BITTP believes in holistic development of students and their participation in the education programme, instill into them professionalism, critical thinking, ability to work hard, and take decisions.
The Institute is situated behind BSNL Training Centre, and at a distance of around 700 meters off National Highway 33 (Ranchi-Hazaribagh road). The beautiful environment graciously bestows the Institute. The serene atmosphere and the fresh unpolluted air embrace as a natural stimulant for the student to concentrate on their studies.
